While you’re in Portrush celebrating the remarkable life and legacy of Sam Henry, take some time to discover more of the stories behind the town itself.

Join our accredited local guides for a relaxed 90-minute Discover Portrush Walking Tour, bringing together local stories, shared memories and fascinating heritage – all set against the spectacular backdrop of our Atlantic coastline.

Beginning at Portrush Town Hall, the scenic 1.3-mile route takes you through the historic harbour and around Ramore before following the coastline towards the Arcadia. Along the way, discover stories of Portrush’s maritime past, its people, changing fortunes and famous seaside heritage – and perhaps a few details you’ve walked past many times without noticing.

Whether you’re visiting Portrush for the Sam Henry celebrations or you know the town well, it’s a chance to slow down, enjoy the scenery and see the place we call home through local eyes.
